My name is Mark Dodge Medlin. I'm a journalist who lives in San Diego, California, with my wife and our poodle mix, Cezanne.

As an assistant news editor for The San Diego Union-Tribune, I do a little bit of everything — editing, page design, some headline writing. I've also gotten involved in the online side of the operation, making Google maps and adding links to stories for SignOnSanDiego, mostly in the Smart Living section.
